Ok, so what do we know so far? Hawaii doesn’t belong in the same league as other BCS teams, Kansas finally beat a worthy opponent, West Virginia will prosper without Rich Rodriguez, and Michigan trumped the defending champs adding validation to a “so-so” season. All that aside, the stage is set for a match up of two strong teams and the pendulum is dead even as far as I’m concerned. I’ve never really been a fan of college football to be honest so I could care less who wins but as a fan of football period…I see this game being the perfect end to a good season of college football.Call it the year of the upset or whatever you wanna call it, this year alone had team after team falling from the top of the BCS standings only to end up with these two teams playing for the BCS title. Whether or not the two deserve it remains an issue but all of that is irrelevant so go figure. Ohio State was crushed last year by Florida and I expect the same thing to happen again against LSU. It won’t be as much of a blowout but LSU’s speed and athleticism will outmatch Ohio State in all three phases of the game so…take it or leave it…I’m going LSU over Ohio State. Until Ohio State proves their 0-8 record against SEC opponents wrong, I have no other choice. History repeats itself and unless Ohio State does something to change it, that 0 in the win column will remain for a little while longer.
