It was only a matter a time, I guess, and after years of speculation, the couple of Jay & Beyoncé made it official yesterday and are now married. It's kind of crazy saying that because this is the same guy that made "Big Pimpin" and embraced the bachelor life but Jay's getting old so it's about time for him to take that next step in life. As for Beyoncé, she's still relatively young but it seems only fitting for her as well.As far as details, not much was expressed publicly but speculation rose after the two took out a marriage license early this week. Not to mention, reports of a proposed bachelor party for Jay and, of course, a YouTube video featuring Kelly Rowland and Michelle Willams. In the aforementioned, the two are quite subtle about the secret gala but you could tell that something was definitely up.
All that aside, I hope their marriage holds up longer than most Hollywood power couples but you never know. Marriage these days is a joke but at least they didn't rush into it so I have to give them credit for that. So, as I close this blog, I'd like to propose a toast. Here's to Shawn and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter a.k.a., the new Bonnie & Clyde.
