I haven’t been feelin’ XXL lately but peep the preview scans from the upcoming Love/Hate issue. As you can see, Lil’ Wayne is on the cover and although it seems as though Lil’ Wayne is over saturating himself by being pretty much everywhere…I think this only heightens the anticipation for
Tha Carter 3.
Mixtapes aside and save for guest appearances, 2007 will be remembered as the year of Lil’ Wayne and by all indications, 2008 has the potential to be the same. Whether or not
TC3 lives up to all its glory remains a mystery to me but Wayne has gotten better with each album. For all we know, Wayne could be delivering us his first “classic” and you know what they say, “third times the charm”.
