The Sweet Taste of Redemption

How many people actually believed in Team USA after what happened in '04? I, myself, didn't but am proud nonetheless, as Team USA managed to get it done with a 118-107 victory over Spain. Closer than the score indicated, Spain put up quite a fight and gave the U.S. their toughest test in these Olympic games; but it was the MVP Kobe Bryant who helped seal the deal. Not to be outdone, the [whole] team rallied and put forth a collective effort that was commendable and I'm quite sure there's no sweeter taste than that of redemption. Without question, Team USA is back, but we still have a long road back to dominance. The rest of the world is catching up and the only way to keep pace is to prove otherwise every four years. Therefore, goodnight China. Good morning, London.
