50 Cent made it official yesterday and confirmed what people have been speculating for quite some time now. For whatever reason, Young Buck has been dismissed from G-Unit and I just couldn't be any happier.
First and foremost though, I'm the farthest thing from being a fan of Buck but you could just tell that he didn't really agree with some of the things 50 would do. Loyalty is a thin line, must I remind you, but Buck will be much better off because the guy has talent. 50's hard work and work ethic rubbed off, I'm sure, but only time will tell. Does this mean he'll be entitled to the same success as he had with G-Unit? No, I can't really say either way but sometimes a new beginning can open doors that were once seemingly locked.
As far as 50 Cent is concerned, Lloyd Banks and Yayo are still down for the cause but who knows for how long? G-Unit is not as invincible as they once were and slowly, but surely, little chinks in their armor are starting to show. Naturally, it would be a cause for concern but 50's persona probably won't allow it. Peep the latest issue of XXL to validate my point but the impending foreclosure of G-Unit is coming. It may not come all of a sudden but 50's popularity is on a sharp decline. I guess it's true what they say. All good things must come to an end and unfortunately, 50 Cent and G-Unit are treading on borrowed time.
